July 12th ー 102nd day of my stay in Australiaー
I had dinner at Kasumi Japanese restaurant with my friend. We talked about our future dreams deeply. We also considered how to make a good friendship, how to live in Australia and how to get English language skills. We told our dreams to each other. It seemed to me that he had overcome his hardships, and it made me happy. I understood why I had been doing my best since I came here, Sydney. I found some reasons. One of them is to make my dream come true. The other is to reward to my friends' and my family's expectation.

July 13thー103rd day of my stay in Australiaー

頼れるバイトの先輩から、本当のリーダーとはどんな存在かを学びました。それと同時に、自分はまだまだ器が小さい人間だなぁと反省するのでした。
July 13th ー 103rd day of my stay in Australiaー
I went to school and took three classes as usual. In the 3rd class, we just talked about our country all the time. I had to try to speak English because I didn't speak a lot even though I understood what my friends said.
After school, I worked at Kasumi Japanese restaurant and I got my wage today. But it wasn't as much as I had expected. I thought that that's why I made some mistakes today. I worked with an older worker as my pair, but we had a group of customers : the number of them was 28 people. We could managed to make them feel satisfied with our service. I had to thank his leadership. Without his leadership, I could not do anything. Before I went out of Kasumi Japanese restaurant, he said to me, "Thank you." Though it made me feel happy, I realized I should've said to him thank you before he said to me. I admire him a lot.

I went to school as usual, but I felt better than yesterday because I was able to catch up with the first class today. But in the 3rd lesson, I felt that it was very difficult for me to make myself understood in English. We talked about an important decision in our life. I have to keep practicing speaking English.
After school, I enjoyed talking to TI, who is from Korea. He speaks English very well and he is interested in studying Japanese.
A friend of mime named Asuka got confused why she was in Australia. It seemed to me that she was very nervous, so we talked about our future, and I was able to give her some good advice. After that, we went drinking beer in order to talk to each other more. I really enjoyed my day-off.

July 16th ー 106th day of my stay in Australiaー
I went working at Kasumi Japanese restaurant. I had nothing special for the first three hours, but after that, a girl who I liked came to the restaurant. She greeted me when she entered, which made me feel so happy, but the boss ordered me to wash the dishes in the kitchen. I was bored. I felt down as soon as I went to the kitchen. After washing a lot of dishes, I made a lot of mistakes perhaps because of the boss's order. I did not feel like doing anything after working.
Today I met a customer who pushed her buggy. Actually I learned the word "buggy" at the moment. My manager recommend me to say "Can you fold up your buggy?" To fold up means to make something such as a chair or table make smaller or flatter by closing it or bending it together. I took notes that expression after working. And more, I thought "a baby car" is an English word. But it is not. According the Internet, a baby car means a small cute car. I was surprised.

ベビーカーは和製英語。英語ではないんですねー!ベビーカーは英語で”pram”, “stroller”, “buggy”, “pushchair”, “baby carriage”といいます。アメリカやイギリスで表現も異なります。

July 18th ー 108th day of my stay in Australiaー
I took a very valuable lesson today. In the third class, I just talked to John. He told me some useful phrases and he talked about his life as a teacher. I've learned a lesson from him. In addition, he gave me homework, so I have to think about how to motive. It was my first time to have homework in Australia, so I was glad to get it.
After school, I worked at Kasumi Japanese restaurant. I was fed up with talking to the boss in the kitchen. I really hate him, but today John told me the importance of looking for positive aspects in the situation. I will try it.
